Are Open-plan Offices Reducing Productivity?

15 Jun 2013

Emma Ines from Mail Online wrote an article regarding open-plan offices. She reported that open-plan offices make employees “less productive, less happy, and more likely to get sick.”

Ines goes on to say that Scandinavian research revealed that people who work in open plan offices take 62 percent more sick days than those who work in their own, enclosed space. Quartz reported that it could be from increased stress and risk of wide-spread germs.
